Take Me to the Moon was born from a deep love for Bali and a vision for travel that is conscious, refined, and rooted in meaning.

With over 25 years of combined international experience in tourism, events, and business management, we found in Bali more than a destination — we found the place we wanted to call home and build something of our own. Guided by Purnama, the sacred full moon, we are committed to turning your dreams into reality: journeys of excellence that are authentic, immersive, and deeply personal.

Behind every journey is a team combining international expertise with genuine knowledge of Indonesia and a passion for the people, places and stories that make this part of the world so special.

MATTEO FLORIS

Founder & CEO

Matteo brings more than two decades of international experience in strategy, management and client relations.

A graduate of Imperial College London with a Master in Corporate Strategy from SDA Bocconi, he built his career between London and international markets, in strategy consulting and senior roles for companies including Mars & Co, Value Partners, Philip Morris International, Sky and FTI Consulting / Delta Partners.

His relationship with Bali evolved from traveller to investor and entrepreneur, ultimately leading to the creation of Take Me to the Moon — combining the authenticity and warmth of Indonesia with the standards expected by international travellers.

Today, Matteo focuses on the company’s strategy, innovation and development, building the structure that lets our team focus on what matters most: our guests and their journey.

ALESSIA PEDERSINI

General Manager

Alessia brings together international business expertise, creativity and a deep curiosity for people, cultures and places.

A Bocconi University graduate in Marketing and Communication, she held marketing and communication roles at Citigroup and Samsonite before a senior leadership position in Marketing and Communication at Arval, part of BNP Paribas Group.

At Take Me to the Moon, Alessia works closely with our team and local partners to turn an idea for a holiday into a journey that feels truly personal. For her, travel design starts with understanding the traveller — what excites them, and what they hope to remember.

Her goal is that every traveller feels there is a real person behind their journey, from before they arrive to whenever they need us along the way.

Behind the scenes, our team combines Italian and Indonesian talent with extensive experience in travel and hospitality across Bali and Indonesia — the day-to-day expertise that turns every itinerary into a seamless, well-executed journey.
