GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS
Applicable to Direct Clients (B2C) and Trade Partners (B2B)
These Terms & Conditions apply to all services provided by Take Me to the Moon. Certain clauses apply specifically to Direct Clients (B2C) or Trade Partners (B2B), as indicated in the relevant sections below.
PAYMENT METHODS
Payments can be made by credit card, PayPal, or bank transfer in IDR, EUR, or USD to an IDR or USD currency account.
All bank charges are the responsibility of the client.
PAYMENT TERMS
The client acknowledges that part of the services provided by Take Me to the Moon consists of consulting, itinerary design, coordination, and travel assistance activities. These professional services are carried out independently of the subsequent use of travel services and are therefore non-refundable.
For Direct Clients (B2C) only, a 50 EUR / 58 USD Travel Design Fee is required for the design of the service.
The Travel Design Fee covers the consulting, itinerary design, and travel coordination services provided by Take Me to the Moon.
This amount constitutes a non-refundable deposit, but it may be deducted from the final balance for trips with a total value exceeding 1,000 EUR.
Before the final confirmation of the services, Take Me to the Moon will provide the client with all relevant information regarding:
- the proposed itinerary
- the services included
- the estimated total price
- the payment methods
- any specific conditions applicable to individual suppliers
Payment terms provide for the total amount to be paid in 2 or 3 installments, depending on the contractual agreements. Unless otherwise agreed in writing with Take Me to the Moon, 60% of the total amount is due upon confirmation of the itinerary, with the remaining balance to be paid no later than 30 days prior to the departure date.
In any case, the first installment must be paid in full before any booking can be confirmed.
If an alternative payment plan is desired, this may be discussed with the Take Me to the Moon team.
In the event of late payment, Take Me to the Moon reserves the right to cancel or modify the booking.
The total cost of the services must be paid at least 30 days before departure.
For bookings made less than 30 days before departure, full payment is required immediately.
CANCELLATION POLICIES
a) Cancellation Policy for Direct Clients (B2C)
Cancellations must be communicated in writing to:

Cancellations made within 30 days prior to arrival are non-refundable.
For cancellations made more than 30 days prior to arrival, Take Me to the Moon will refund the amounts paid, net of:
- the Travel Design Fee
- the Concierge Service related to the design, organization, booking, and management of the travel services, as specified in the relevant invoice
- any services already paid and non-refundable according to the policies of the suppliers involved (hotels, transport, experiences, etc.)
Refunds, where applicable, will be issued only after Take Me to the Moon has received the relevant refund from the suppliers involved.
The client acknowledges that the services offered by Take Me to the Moon consist of a tailor-made and customized trip organized through several independent suppliers. Therefore, any refunds will always be subject to the conditions of the suppliers involved and to these Terms and Conditions.
In the event of a postponement requested by the client, Take Me to the Moon will do its best to reschedule the services without additional costs, but this cannot be guaranteed. Additional charges may apply for services already paid and non-refundable. Rescheduling must take place within 12 months.
b) Cancellation Policy for Trade Partners (B2B)

In the event of cancellation after confirmation of the services, a design penalty of 30 EUR for each day of the itinerary designed will apply, as reimbursement for the costs incurred for research, design, booking, and cancellation management activities.
Cancellation more than 30 days prior to arrival
A penalty of 30 EUR for each day of the itinerary designed will apply.
Cancellation within 30 days prior to arrival
The amounts paid are non-refundable, except for any recoveries obtained from the suppliers involved. Any services already booked and non-refundable according to supplier policies shall also remain applicable.
The penalty may be deducted from the total cost of the trip if the trip is rescheduled within 12 months, subject to service availability.
PAYMENT RESPONSIBILITY (Trade Partners B2B only)
The partner agency or tour operator making the booking is responsible for the full payment of the services confirmed with Take Me to the Moon, regardless of whether payment has been received from the final client.
Take Me to the Moon shall not be held responsible for any non-payment or disputes between the partner agency and the final client.
NON-CIRCUMVENTION (Trade Partners B2B only)
The partner agency acknowledges that the suppliers, local partners, guides, drivers, hotels, and operators involved in the organization of the services have been selected and coordinated by Take Me to the Moon.
The partner agency undertakes not to contact such suppliers directly, nor to contract services directly with them outside of Take Me to the Moon, for a period of 12 months from the date of the last service provided.
BOOKING CONFIRMATION
The booking will be confirmed only upon receipt of the first installment payment.
The final balance must be paid at least 30 days before departure.
Failure to make payment within the required timeframe shall result in automatic cancellation.
ITINERARY MODIFICATIONS
Before final confirmation, the client is entitled to request up to three modifications to the itinerary, subject to availability and possible price revision.
After approval and payment, the itinerary becomes binding.
Revisions requested after confirmation will incur an hourly fee of 30 EUR for itinerary revision.
All modifications are subject to supplier availability and their policies.
Take Me to the Moon reserves the right to refuse substantial or unreasonable modification requests to the itinerary after confirmation of the services, where such modifications involve operational complexity or significant additional costs.
WHAT IS INCLUDED / EXCLUDED
Only the services expressly indicated in the itinerary are included.
Any additional costs, such as extra driver hours beyond those provided for in the itinerary, restaurant bills not specifically mentioned, or similar expenses, are excluded.
Such expenses must be paid directly by the client on site, unless otherwise agreed in advance through the concierge service of Take Me to the Moon.
In cases where the concierge advances payments on behalf of the client, a final invoice will be issued at the end of the service for reimbursement.
ITINERARY CHANGES & REFUNDS
Take Me to the Moon undertakes to follow the planned itinerary but reserves the right to modify it where necessary in order to improve the experience.
Certain activities or services may be subject to change due to operational reasons, weather conditions, traffic, local holidays, or other unforeseen circumstances. Take Me to the Moon will do its best to ensure an equivalent or improved experience.
If an activity included in the itinerary cannot be carried out due to unforeseen causes beyond the client’s control, with the exception of force majeure events, the cost of that specific activity will be refunded.
No refunds shall be granted for scheduled and already paid activities that the client chooses not to attend.
It is the client’s responsibility to comply with the itinerary, including the indicated times and meeting points.
CUSTOMIZED SERVICES
The client acknowledges that the services offered by Take Me to the Moon consist of a tailor-made and customized trip, built on the basis of preferences, requests, and supplier availability at the time of booking.
Any variations in services, timings, or the sequence of activities that do not substantially alter the overall quality of the travel experience shall not constitute grounds for a refund.
TRAVEL INSURANCE
Travel insurance is not included in any itinerary or package.
It is the client’s responsibility to purchase personal insurance covering unforeseen events, medical emergencies, cancellations, loss or theft, and trip interruptions.
Take Me to the Moon strongly recommends that all clients obtain adequate coverage.
CLIENT RESPONSIBILITY
The client is responsible for checking, prior to departure:
- the validity of their passport
- any visa requirements
- health formalities
- any other documents required for entry into the countries included in the itinerary
In the absence of such verification, Take Me to the Moon shall not be held responsible for any issues relating to departure, entry into the destination country, or participation in the activities included in the trip.
LIABILITY
Take Me to the Moon acts solely as an intermediary between the client and local service providers (hotels, transport, guides, activities, etc.).
Take Me to the Moon shall not be held responsible for personal injury, loss, damage, accidents, or delays due to causes beyond its control.
Take Me to the Moon shall not be held responsible for any accidents occurring during services provided by suppliers or partners, including personal injury, loss, damage, accidents, or delays caused by third parties.
The client is responsible for their own conduct and must maintain a respectful attitude toward staff, guides, and other participants.
Take Me to the Moon reserves the right to refuse service to any client engaging in dangerous, illegal, or seriously inappropriate behaviour, without any right to a refund.
ASSISTANCE DURING THE TRIP
Take Me to the Moon will provide reasonable assistance to the client in the event of difficulties during the trip, within the limits of the services purchased and its operational capacity.
Any extraordinary costs arising from causes not attributable to Take Me to the Moon shall remain the responsibility of the client.
FORCE MAJEURE
Take Me to the Moon shall not be held responsible for delays, cancellations, itinerary changes, or additional costs caused by force majeure events, including but not limited to:
- natural disasters (e.g. earthquakes, floods, volcanic eruptions)
- wars, riots, or political instability
- epidemics or pandemics
- government travel restrictions or changes in visa policies
- strikes by airlines or transport operators
- unforeseen medical emergencies involving the client or third parties
In such cases, Take Me to the Moon will do its best to reorganize the services or propose alternative solutions, but any additional costs shall be borne by the client.
Any refunds shall always be subject to the policies of the suppliers involved.
COMPLAINTS & PROBLEM RESOLUTION
Any problems must be reported immediately in order to allow for prompt resolution.
Complaints received after the trip may not be taken into consideration if the Take Me to the Moon team was not informed in real time.
GOVERNING LAW
Any disputes shall be governed by Indonesian law.
PRIVACY POLICY
Take Me to the Moon protects the privacy of its clients and collects personal data exclusively for purposes related to bookings and itineraries.
Personal data (names, contact details, passport details, etc.) are handled securely and shall not be shared with third parties without explicit consent, except where required by law.
Take Me to the Moon applies professional technical measures for the protection of data but shall not be held responsible for any data breaches occurring outside of its own infrastructure.
Clients may request access to, modification of, or deletion of their data at any time.
GENERAL TERMS
Take Me to the Moon reserves the right to modify or update these Terms and Conditions at any time.
The most up-to-date version of the Terms and Conditions shall be the one published on the website or provided at the time of booking the services.
Subsequent updated Terms and Conditions shall prevail over any previous versions.
ACCEPTANCE
By booking the services of Take Me to the Moon, the client fully accepts these Terms and Conditions.
